Job Description
Dot Coffee is a rapidly growing coffee chain with multiple kiosk locations. We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Manager to join our team. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts for the company's operations
Prepare financial statements and reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Analyze financial data and make recommendations to senior management on areas for improvement
Monitor the financial performance of each kiosk location and identify opportunities to optimize revenue and reduce costs
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, customers, and other stakeholders
Manage the company's cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity
Prepare and monitor budgets and track actual expenses against budgeted amounts
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
Oversee the company's tax planning and compliance activities
Manage a team of financial professionals and ensure their continued professional development.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or equivalent
At least 2-3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the retail or food and beverage industry
CPA certification is a must
Skills, Competencies, and Characteristics
Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information.
Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level managers & co-founders.
Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access.
Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Experience with financial software and systems
Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize
Ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships
Capacity to make quick but rational decisions
Potential to lead and motivate others
