Job Description
Provide ownership of the administration of the finance function in the Philippines in line with local entity management and onshore Finance and Accounting teams.
Formal Job Description
Provide the key local support for the end-to-end finance & accounting operations for the company that enables the business to deliver on its strategic agenda
Expected administrative responsibilities of finance operations include (but not limited to) payroll, supplier management and payment, internal recharge invoicing and payment management, cash management, bank account reconciliation, cashflow forecasting, support in preparation of financial statements, financial audits
Help implement an effective internal cross border recharge mechanism providing full transparency on costs of the service provision
Provide management with effective data and reporting to enable clear decision making around the financial aspects of the center
Ensure legal compliance on all financial matters and functions
Desired Career Experience
Relevant experience in Finance & Accounting of which at least 2 years in a management position
CPA or MBA preferred but not required
Involvement in a previous start-up would be a distinct advantage
Eloquent in communicating; proficient in MS office applications
Keen to be a pioneer in the finance team in a new organization and be part of a growing business
Digitally aware and with experience of different technologies e.g. Oracle
Excellent and up to date knowledge of Philippine finance & taxation related laws and regulations.
Excellent relationship management skills to manage business partners globally
Highly analytical with a meticulous attention to detail required
A proactive and self-driven approach to exceed personal and business goals and targets
Expectation for hybrid working of 3 days per week in office
