Finance
Responsible for the overall finance and accounts department to develop, implement and effectively use financial control systems for expenses, purchases, sales, assets, government payments and working capital.
Conversant with Local GAAP and exposure to IFRS. Ensure close of accounting cycles on review of the General Ledger and relevant Finance Records by the Accountant for the reliability, completeness and accuracy in accordance to Tax, GAAP and Convergence requirements.
To monitor and ensure Gross Working Capital are within the budgeted norms.
Liaise with banks on banking facilities and banking requirements. Compliance with Banking rules regarding Fx management.
Monitor and ensure cash flow to meet company's expenses within the sanctioned overdraft limits.
Undertake all functions with regard to legal and company secretarial matters.
Conversant with Direct and Indirect taxation systems in Philippines. (Income tax, VAT etc). Ability to Manage Tax Audits of BIR . VAT audits
Transfer Price Reports and compliance.
MIS System - Direct exposure and Hands on Implementation , Report Generation
Budget Preparations by coordinating with Business and Support teams.
To exercise and monitor controls on various operational activities to safeguard company from exposure to risks and losses.
Evaluate new business proposals and contribute on strategies to support business development efforts & projects.
Collaborate with External Auditors for quarterly and annual Statutory Audits for local and all GAAPs.
Ensure good corporate governance is in place to ensure correcting reporting and satisfy audits by external, tax & internal auditors.
Coordinate overall IT activities & projects to support business operations
Commercial & Purchase - Supervise & Assist
Sales Administration - Credit Exposure, Sales Order Processing, Customer Claim Management.
Liaise with Outsource Local Contract manufacturer for Product supplies, costs controls and Inventory & Production Planning.
Monitor deliveries of products to various Distributors so that they are within the credit policies set by management and monitor payments from them periodically.
Develop strategies with Business Teams on products allocation between distributors to maximize sales and profitability for the company.
