Job Accountability:
In charge of heading the company's finances which includes analysis on the financial strength and risks, profit and loss, budget control, and strategic financial planning to ensure the goals and objectives of the business are met and sustained.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Holder in Accountancy and must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
12 years of related experience with at least 5 years in managerial position
An extensive experience in Accounting Operations and Strategic Finance - which includes AR, AP, Treasury, Cost Accounting and GL, Payroll, Taxation, Fund Management, Risk Analysis, Budget Control and Reporting, Audit, Financial Planning
FMCG background is preferred
An analytical mind and has a strong business mindset/business acumen
Strong leadership ability through informal and formal positions of leading and developing teams
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to manage time given the multiple demands
Experience in SAP or other Finance related system is an advantage
Has a keen eye for details
Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintains the general and cost accounting systems and recommends and implements further improvement on them.
Consolidates, prepares, finalizes, and analyses periodic financial statements and other management reports with appropriate recommendations
Recommends and Implements policies for strict internal control and fiscal discipline on all financial transactions
Recommends cost control and revenue enhancement measures and monitors all compliances upon approval and implementation
Clear all accounting compliance issues with corporate organization
Tax Compliance
To ensure company's compliance with tax rules and regulations, covering internal revenue taxes, thru accurate and timely filing of returns required reports, and payments such as: Income Taxes, Value Added Taxes, Withholding Taxes, Other Taxes
To ensure company's compliance with local government tax laws and ordinances, thru renewal of business permits.
Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of departmental and/or company goals(s) or for personal or professional training, education or development
