Overview:
Manage funds in such a manner as to maximize return on investment while minimizing risk, and while also ensuring that an adequate control structure is in place over the transfer and investment of funds. Engages in financial analysis in such areas as forecasting, budgeting, engaging in cost reduction analysis, and reviewing operational performance
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
1. Fund Management
1.a) Forecast cash flow positions and ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing
operational and capital investment requirements.
1.b) Maintain banking relationships
2. Budgeting
2.a) Manage the preparation of the company's budget
2.b) Monitor and Report to Management Budget Variances
2.c) Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction
3. Financial Analysis and Reports
3.a) Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company
3.b) Responsible for the review and submission of Monthly Financial Reports
3.c) Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities
3.d) Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company
throughput.
3.e) Responsible in the Compliance to Government Laws and Regulations-i.e., review and remittance
of national and local taxes; Submission of reportorial requirements to SEC, BIR and BOI.
3.f) Create additional analysis and reports as requested by management
4. Supervises accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of accounting functions.
Nonessential Job Functions:
Performs other directly related appropriate duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.
Job Specifications/Skills:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or MBA is preferred
Six years' experience supporting top level Managers in a fast paced business environment.
Strong experience in income statement analysis
Computer Skills: Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables.
Outstanding knowledge of electronic spreadsheets
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and large, complex projects.
Superior organizational abilities.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Team cooperation - maintain positive, cooperative attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all
customers.
Familiar with ERP software, preferably JDE.
Minimum Educational Requirements:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science Major in Accounting
Travel: 10%
