Job Summary:
The Finance Manager contributes to the growth and profitability of the company. He/She is accountable for the finance and accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk. He/She will support the executive management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all areas relating to finance and accounting functions and financial reporting.
Prepare financial analysis on variances, product margin, cost trends, capital investments etc.
Implement continuous financial audit and control systems to monitor the performance of the company, its flow of funds, the adherence to the budget, the expenditures, the income, the cost of sales and other budgetary items.
Comply with all reporting, accounting and audit requirements. At the year-end, consolidate accounts and prepare statement of accounts and audit file.
Produce timely, regularly and present to Management/Stakeholders the financial statements and reports of the company as deemed necessary and demanded from time to time.
Ensure accuracy and submission of financial reports.
Regulate, supervise and implement a timely, full and accurate set of accounting books of the company reflecting all its activities in a manner commensurate with the relevant legislation and regulation and subject to internal guidelines set from time to time by the company.
Provide advice on financial matters to the management team.
Managing internal and external audits when occur.
Liaise with auditor and bank on various matters.
Requirements and Qualifications:
​Must possess at least a bachelor's/ College Degree with Professional License (Certified Public Accountancy) specializing in Finance/ Accountancy/ management or equivalent.
At least 15 years of working experience in managing a team in finance and accounting.
Has broad understanding of the technical issues and ability to keep up to date with new accounting rules and regulations.
Has exposure in financial accounting and reporting; cost accounting; treasury management; tax strategy, planning and compliance.
Adept with the knowledge relating to governance, risk and control, strategy and innovation, corporate reporting, audit and assurance and taxation.
Can influence decisions, actions and behaviors of decision-makers and other stakeholders.
Excellent project management, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Has strong leadership skills.
