Job Description
Responsibilities of the job include:
Develop and implement all accounting, finance and recordkeeping processes and procedures
Responsible for:
Internal controls and auditing
General ledger encoding and bookkeeping
Invoicing and collections
Payables
Fixed assets and liabilities management
Payroll
Monthly, quarterly and year-end close reports
Bank account reconciliation
Cost monitoring and control
Budgeting and cash forecasting, including variance analysis
Financial reporting
Regulatory reporting (i.e. SEC, BIR)
Fiscal record keeping
Periodic auditing
Hiring and supervising staff and/or outsourced services
Liaising with managerial team and other colleagues
Serve as the primary liaison for external accountants and tax consultants
Ensure timely payment of outstanding loans
Perform other duties as assigned from time to time
Minimum Qualifications
Finance manager for a fast-growing e-commerce business who will lead Finance and Accounting for HairMNL.
Qualifications
5+ years of aggregate accounting and finance experience
At least 3 years in a supervisory position
Degree in accounting (CPA or CMA preferred)
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Thorough knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations
Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions and month-end and year-end close processes
Excellent accounting software skills
Entrepreneurial / Start-up experience a plus
Knowledge of inventory management and control
Ability to work well under pressure, with very little supervision
Detail-oriented and a proactive problem-solver
Effective written and verbal communication skills
