Responsibilities:

Position Overview
As a Corporate Controller and being a key team member of Tencent International Finance Centre, you will supervise the local accounting, local tax, and other financial-related functions, including but not limited to, establish and implement financial policies, perform financial risk assessments, and prepare annual budgets and forecasts. He/she should possess comprehensive tax advisory experiences across the region and should be currently or have past work experience from reputable Tax advisory firm
Manage the financial compliance operations of Southeast-Asia entities, and coordinate with business teams and group finance teams to establish local procurement, payment, fund management, financial compliance, post-investment financial management and other processes.
Responsible for the annual budget management of the assigned overseas entities, and track budget implementation and rolling forecasts, and timely early warning; analyse and evaluate specific business operations, key projects and resource, and assist business teams for decisions.
Responsible for identifying the process optimization opportunities and drive the process changes across the aspects of budget management, FP&A, entity financial management and other systems.
Responsible for localising SOPs of the Group across the region while synchronising with the headquarters.
Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy / Finance; Professional Chartered Accountant membership would be highly advantageous
At least 6 years of relevant experience in a tax advisory role, preferably from Internet / Technology industry or Tax firms
Strong tax knowledge, including transaction tax, digital tax, TP arrangement, PE etc.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate with different teams around the world
High energy and passion to drive changes within a start-up environment
Past experience using Oracle ERP or its equivalents is highly regarded
