Mission Details
Financial Reporting and General Accounting
Responsible for General Accounting, including closing the books of accounts in compliance with the company closing calendar, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and appropriates of approvals for all transactions executed as part of the closing process
Preparation of month-end reports and analyses on P&L, Fixed Costs, CAPEX, Trade Working Capital (TWC), Conso and Deferred Tax, including CORE and ESSBASE reporting.
Review and reconciliation of balance sheet and profit & loss (P&L) accounts, identifying issues, coordinating with the account owners, analyzing the root cause and determining the next steps that will lead to the resolution of those issues.
Fixed assets control, including capitalization, depreciation, derecognition, physical count and tagging.
Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial Analysis
Accurate and on-time preparation of Fixed Cost and CAPEX budgets, forecast and related reports in coordination with BU Heads and Budget Owners.
Monthly review and variance analysis of Fixed Costs against budgets and forecast.
Required Profile
University education, bachelor or master in Accountancy.
At least 5 years work experience in External or Internal Audit, General Accounting and Financial Reporting and other related accounting function.
Experience in SAP system. Good computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Knowledgeable on current accounting and financial reporting standards, conversant with SEC and BIR regulations, hands-on experience on ERP systems.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels in a confident and professional manner. Strong attention to details; analytical, well-organized, proactive, assertive, and taking a creative approach to problem solving; responsive to customer requests and ensures customer satisfaction; provides effective solutions; ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
