We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Controller (Vice President) to lead the finance function of a dynamic organization in the broadcast, entertainment, and digital media space. This role will oversee accounting, financial reporting, and production finance while ensuring financial discipline, compliance, and strategic support for business growth.Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and consolidation of accurate and timely financial statements across multiple business units.
Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), tax regulations, and government reporting requirements.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in collaboration with business leaders.
Strengthen internal controls, oversee audits, and safeguard company resources.
Provide financial insights into diverse revenue streams including advertising, subscriptions, sponsorships, syndication, and digital platforms.
Partner closely with various divisions (Sales, Programming, Production, IT, HR, etc.) to support business objectives.
Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with 5+ years in a managerial or controllership role.
Preferably with background in broadcast media, telecommunications, entertainment, or digital industries.
Strong knowledge of PFRS, tax compliance, and ERP/financial systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
Proven leadership skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, creative, and highly regulated environment.
