Job Description:
In charge of the data analytics projects requested by finance teams.
Gather detailed requirements through meetings and documentation with finance and other pertinent departments and collaborate on reporting and data-related projects.
Develop ad hoc codes, reports, download boards, and communicate insights to finance teams.
Provide support to finance users by assisting users in finding the right information within Sea's data warehouses.
Develop new and update existing reports.
Drive the standardisation of data metrics by leveraging data and business process knowledge.
Be a liaison concerning analytics initiatives between local finance department and other departments locally and across regions.
Determine opportunities for improvement using different technologies.
Learn and develop new processes to improve reporting tools and systems.
Handle other tasks assigned to them by their team lead.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or related areas
Minimum of 2 years work experience in data analytics, business analytics, or alike
High SQL proficiency
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Excellent oral and writing communication skills
Self-starter and quick learner
Confidence in dealing with both technical and non-technical staff
Experience in working with projects and project teams is a plus
Experience in data visualisation and dashboards is a plus
Python proficiency is a plus
Experience with querying data from non-relational databases is a plus
