Job Description : Position Title: Finance Audit Assistant
Work Set-up: Work From Home
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm (1 hr break) PH Time
Salary: Php 50k to 65k based on experience
Sign-on Bonus: None

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A FINANCE AUDIT ASSISTANT
Your Responsibilities as a Finance Audit Assistant would be:
Complete work assigned to them by the auditor in charge, ensuring that the purpose of the work undertaken is understood.
Record the work performed. The working papers should provide a record of the work done and the conclusions reached such that the reviewer can be satisfied that the planned procedures have been performed in a logical and orderly fashion, that the sources of information were appropriate and that a valid conclusion has been drawn on the basis of the findings.
Notify the auditor in charge of problems encountered in the performance of the planned procedures and conclusions reached which might have an adverse effect on our opinion.
Maintain time records, informing the auditor in charge of possible over-runs of budgeted time or where budgeted time proves excessive.
Qualifications as a Finance Audit Assistant:
Bachelor's degree Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Proven 1-year experience as a Finance Audit Assistant
It is expected you would start to learn basic aspects of the following technical areas:
o Australian Accountings Standards or International Accounting Standards
o Australian Auditing Standards or International Auditing Standards
o Local laws and regulations governing financial reporting.
o Understanding of systems of internal control
o Understanding of corporate governance
Have problem solving and proactive skills: Be able to suggest practical improvements & recommendations.
Have analytical skills and attentive to details.
Familiarity with accounting software and in MS office
Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
Strong mathematical skills
Dynamic problem-solving skills
Familiarity with accounting software
Amazing time management skills
Ability to work independently and on a team.
