Job Description:
Assist in the IFRS17 Project activities such as:
- Data Mapping, Data Reporting, and Process Flow
- Assist to design financial systems and process changes based on accounting interpretations, tested
and implemented in preparation for the new IFRS17 standard.
- Assist in the review of Finance specifications for systems gap assessment based on data
requirements.
- Assist with functional workshops and documentation of Finance on IFRS17.
- Assist in providing clarifications and work with Business Unit on finance requirements.
- Assist on the implementation of the new IFRS 17 accounting logic or actuarial calculation logic in
Sub-ledger and SUN GL
- Coordinate with local BU and external vendors to ensure the data and systems fulfill the user
requirements
- Assist in the preparation of IFRS17-related deliverable and status reports
- Document manuals and procedures of finance process as required
- Perform user acceptance testing based on project schedule and to report any issues encountered in
a precise and timely manner
- Conduct user training
Provide support as needed in General Accounting and Financial Planning & Reporting
Implement control procedures to assure data integrity and quality assurance of deliverables.
Job Requirements:
Must be an Accounting Graduate
Around 3 to 6 years of working experience in Finance and/or Insurance companies
Familiar with accounting standards
Preferably with experience on IFRS system / project experience
Preferably with Financial project exposure and experience
Strong technical knowledge in financial accounting, controls and processes
Strong written and verbal language skills in English
Preferably with experience in a project as a Subject Matter Expert or Project Team Member
Preferably with strong project and stakeholder management skills to communicate effectively with all
levels
Requirements * Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
Years of experience: 3
