Job Description
This position is primarily responsible for consolidating and ensuring correctness of entries in the budgeted annual business plan, financial statements and monthly management reports. Incumbent also ensures compliance to all tax-related laws, regulations, and guidelines, and implements management control procedures, particularly for inventory reconciliation.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
General Accounting (Bookkeeping)
Checks correctness of entries to General Ledger before posting.
Performs closing of Books (A/R, A/P, PO, Inventory, GL).
Financial Reporting and Analysis
Consolidates monthly management reports.
Creates templates for Financial Report Writer.
Preparation of trial Balance.
Management Accounting
Asset Management
Costing
Consolidates final budgeted annual business plan.
Risk Management and Control
Inventory Reconciliation - Reconciles total inventory cost per physical count vs. total cost per books.
Taxes/Business Permits - Ensures compliance to and accuracy of all tax-related payments and reports.
Leadership and People Management
Assigns work to subordinates and ensures that they have the knowledge, skills, motivation for competent and committed performance.
Builds and mobilizes the team to work well together to achieve department objectives and targets.
Ensures the implementation of company policies relating to people management.
Establishes good working relationships and coordination with branches and other departments.
Makes sound decisions within own area of authority, based in both quantitative and qualitative data.
Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be Accounting Graduate.
CPA Licensed.
At least 4 years' experience in corporate finance in a Managerial capacity preferably in Media and Creatives and likes.
Knowledgeable in Financial Reporting and Analysis.
Technical Competencies:
GAAP/PAS/PFRS
Tax accounting
Willing to report onsite at our Stronghold office in Xavierville, Quezon City
