FINANCE and ACCOUNTING officer (cpa)Maxiload Transport & Equipment Corp

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
Experience - Minimum of 3 years experience in finance and accounting management, admin, or an equivalent combination of experience/or education wherein comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment in a start-up company.
Proactive, adaptable, and with great leadership skills.

Office hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am-6:00 pm
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
A. Optimization of Asset
Manage Accounts Payable and Receivables:
1. Establishes credit policies and monitors its application and compliance.
2. Shortens transaction cycles to ensure that funds are well managed and in support of the needs of the organization while able to maintain its credit reputation.
3. Checks, validates and reconciles accounts payables, and receivables for timely identification of due payments and collections.
3. Oversees the monitoring of both accounts payable and receivable and ensures that the standard processes are followed.
4. Make recommendations to resolve any disputes that may arise from issues from both accounts payable and receivables.
Regulate department costs/expenses
1. Determines a budget against which actual costs are to be compared
2. Reviews and recommends strategies and policies aligned with financial goals.
3. Ascertains the variance, analyzes, and investigates variances when beyond the defined target.
4. Makes recommendations to Management, on better control systems based on the findings.
B. Operational Efficiency
1. Prepares, develops and recommends the annual corporate budget founded on the annual strategic imperatives of Maxiload Transport.
2. Monitors the timely reporting of information in the preparation of payroll,
3. Creates policies and standards on timely reporting of information in the preparation of payroll, financial statements, processes on cash disbursement, and accuracy of data needed in the financial reports.
4. Recommends process improvements that will facilitate data or information accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
5. Update the general ledger on a regular basis and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
6. Processing of business permits and alike.
C. Compliance
1. Promotes ethical conduct and conformance to rules, regulations, and standard processes that govern how financial services organizations should conduct business.
2. Employs data management of relevant and important financial and accounting records to support regulatory and tax requirements.
3. Observes with diligence the tax and regulatory obligations on deadlines, payments, and pertinent documents for submission.
D. Management reportorial requirements and other duties
1. Submits reports as required and as needed by the management.
2. Makes certain that reports related to finance and accounting are provided to his immediate superior promptly and accurately.
3. Performs financial audit and prepares audit reports with recommendations to President
4. Researches and develops new reporting tools when needed.
