Manage cash flow and forecasting. Ensure that billing and collection schedules are documented and prepared in a timely manner
Assist various departments in accounting issues and queries and preparation of Financial Statements
Prepare and submit required reports to Partners
Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries
Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the Firm
Assist in Tax preparation and filing, and month-end account closing activities as well as perform account reconciliations
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to have a holistic and better understanding of operations (simultaneous engagements between different departments)
Innovate process solutions to ensure efficiency and maintain internal controls for compliance
As part of the support staff, engage in cross functional working groups to improve best practices and processes
Supervise accounting staff and take responsibility over the accuracy of their accounts
Provide oversight and direction to the team in accordance with the Firm's procedures.
Coach, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
Empower employees to take responsibilities for the jobs and goals. Delegate responsibilities and expect accountability and regular feedback.
Maintain transparent communication within the team.
