JOB SUMMARY
The FINANCE and ACCOUNTING HEAD is responsible for directing and overseeing the effective implementation of finance and accounting infrastructure, systems and procedures of the business unit.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure credibility of Finance & Treasury Group, by providing timely and accurate analysis of budget, financial trends and forecast.
Take the hands-on lead in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the comprehensive job cost system
Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Treasury functions of the organization.
Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action
Establish and maintain strong relationships with Senior Executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions
Provide Senior Management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
Manager processes for financial forecasting, budget, and consolidation
Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAP and applicable national and local regulatory laws and regulations for financial and tax reporting
Handle special projects and investments of the company or its affiliates
Support other functions or teams in the day-to-day operations of the company

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or any related field.
Preferably with advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, Master's Degree)
At least 5 years of extensive experience in finance and accounting preferably in the construction industry
In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations applicable to the construction industry
Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting
Strong understanding of project costing, revenue recognition, and construction accounting methods (e.g., percentage of completion method)
Strong leadership and management skills, with the capacity to build and motivate a high-performing Finance team
