Accenture in the Philippines is currently looking for a Finance Manager - Country Controllership who will be responsible in performing the following day-to-day tasks:
Overall Purpose:
Leads entire PH Financial Reporting and Controls Team.
Contributes to Controllership decisions primarily relating to compliance and controls.
Represents Philippines on controllership scope to global controllership and multiple country statutory.
Responsibilities:
Approver for various high value and critical tasks
Act as Expert of FRC activities to provide solution or direction for system errors, escalations, issues and concerns.
Act as Point of Contact (POC) for Finance-related process improvements and innovation initiatives impacting FRC.
Implement complex change/ improvement initiatives and ensure timely delivery through robust project management system and adherence of the group escalation matrix.
Provides periodic financial reporting to all stakeholders.
Collaborate with different processes such as AWS, ISA, Compliance, Payroll Operations, Total Rewards, etc. for the development and maintenance of RTR process documentations ensuring that they evergreen fostering effective processes and controls are in place and are adhered to
Regularly review and challenge any step outs in the current process design to identify best practices and process improvements.
Stay aware of and align to Accenture process and data methodology and tooling requirements.
Ensure the existing and support the enforcement of Data Privacy Laws and regulation at corporate level for payroll or employee information.
POC for all financial audits
What we are looking for?
BS Accountancy graduate, CPA required.
Minimum of 8 years accounting or record to report experience with strong financial, accounting and reporting skills in a shared services industry or with the big 4 auditing firms.
At least 5 years' experience in a people manager role for a headcount intensive business structure
Experience in project management role in RTR or other finance operations
Strong experience in accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
High attention to detail and accuracy and adherence to deadlines
Experience in handling external audit
Experience in taxation including tax case resolutions.
Has worked in an extensive ERP environment.
