Job Purpose and Scope:
The Finance Analyst is responsible for budget preparation, implementation and monitoring. He/She also does the management reports for review of FP&A Manager. He/She is also in charge of doing special projects as may be assigned by FVP - CFO or AVP - Controller.
Job Specifications and Responsibilities:
Prepares annual and mid year budget, budget guidelines, formats, parameters, and schedules
Sends guidelines and advisories to budget preparers and team leaders. Ensure that timelines are met
Discusses and resolves with team leaders/budget preparers any issues related to budget preparation. Conduct pocket-meetings, discussions and forums as necessary
Prepares and distributes reports to Mancom, ACI, and group Boards
Schedules budget presentations to the Budget Committee for review and approval of the proposed budget
Disseminates to all team leaders the approved budget for each team
Prepares a 10 Year Financial forecast based on the approved strategic plan of the top management.
Submit approved reports on time
Prepares, analyzes and submits reports to Corporate Finance Group per schedule and/or as required
Coordinates and responds to queries of Corporate Finance Group related to submitted reports
Thorough and timely evaluation of CapEx requests for approval
Prepares purchase requests for approved CapEx and monitors all CapEx requests for the year
Settles CapEx items for capitalization monthly
Ensures that all requests are budgeted and correctly charged to proper cost centers
Collects monthly Overhead variance analysis prepared by each team leader and prepare a summary of their analysis. Report findings to team leaders meeting
Provides feedback to team leaders for any major variances from the budget to assist them in decision-making and planning
Collates data from Accounting and PPCD and ensure reconciliation for the Monthly Financial Management Report
Ensures that faithful representation and accountability are observed with and among reporting lines to uphold integrity of financial management reports
Facilitate coordination and timely submission of schedules and reports in the preparation of monthly financial, management reports
Prepares monthly management financial report and rolling forecast, prepares analysis of variances by comparing actual against budget for for submission/presentation to Management
Recommends and implements improvements in reporting process
Assists, analyzes, and submits cost benefit analyses for major capital expenditures and investments as planned by management
Reviews evaluation of client and subcon accreditations as prepared by Accounting.
Make recommendations for process improvement
Keeps and maintains a financial database for all management reports, schedules, presentations, minutes, and other related materials.
Ensure highest degree of confidentiality is observed in handling reports
Ensures proper custody of Finance templates or its equivalent
Minimum Qualification
Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
open to Fresh Graduates and New CPALE passers
1-2 years of background/experience in Finance Planning, Analysis, and/or Reporting is and advantage
Experience in construction industry is an advantage
Willing to be assigned in Taguig
