JOB SUMMARY
Finance Analyst is responsible for effective and efficient management of payable
and receivable from principal by ensuring accurate and timely processing of principal invoices; by
preparing and organizing documentation necessary to collect payment for outstanding receivables
from principal; by recording, updating and reconciling related financial information in accordance
with established practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Claims Operations
Prepares miscellaneous/service invoice
Gathers and organizes documentation necessary to support billing to principals
Prepares monthly reconciliation and sends monthly statement of accounts to principals
Manages collection of outstanding and overdue receivables from principals
Communicates with principals regarding long overdue accounts
Ensures accurate recording/posting and allocation of collections
Prepares journal voucher for various accounting entries and adjustments
Handles all principals request on various claims documentation in a timely manner
Identifies the causes for nonpayment of claims and communicates problems with the various departments concern for the resolution
Assists the Principal Accounting Manager and Supervisor in resolving disputed and overdue claims from principals
Updates the collection forecast, ABC reporting files and other monthly reports required by other departments
Accounts Payable Operations
Receives and verifies correctness and completeness of invoices from principals
Identifies causes of invoice discrepancies and communicates concerns with principals or other departments
Prepares payment schedules
Processes payments for maturing invoices by preparing final payment report to be submitted to Cash Department
Prepares monthly Account Payable reconciliation for the purposes of maintaining accurate account balances
Prepare journal voucher for various entries and adjustments
Updates weekly and monthly forecasts for principal payments required by Cash Department
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of BS Accountancy/ BS Commerce major in Accounting; Preferably CPA
With at least 1 year experience in multinational consumer or pharmaceutical company
Experience in handling receivables and payables
Good written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Windows application
