Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer and supplier of compressed, metallic gaskets, compression packings, and industrial products company. Our respected client is seeking a seasoned Accountant with at least 2 to 3 years experience in Finance & Accounting. The job is based in Muntinlupa City, Philippines.
Key job responsibilities include:
In charge of filing and encoding expense report liquidations and the corresponding journal entry (JV011).
Bank reconciliation and responsible for JV 010A.
Computes the no. of hours worked by the contractual employees per payroll cut-off based on their Daily Time Records and authorized overtime, and subsequently checks the accuracy of the billing statement submitted by the manpower agency.
Attends to the timely and orderly payment of all taxes such as Value Added Tax, broker's tax, municipal licenses and local taxes, real estate taxes, withholding taxes, etc. Must be prepared two (2) working days before the due date.
Ensures the accuracy of recorded transactions through the review and examination of all petty cash and journal vouchers.
Reviews books of accounts such as Petty Cash Book, Sales Book, DCM Register, Cash Receipt Book, etc.
Sees to it that all necessary adjustments to accounts are made immediately and prepares a summary of all adjusting entries for the month (JV014).
Reconciliation of Branch Inventory Reports vs. HO Records including all consignments and report variances for necessary adjustments using the Discrepancy Report Form.
Reviews cost of production entries, reconciliations, schedules, listings, and reports prepared by the accounting staff.
Ensures that all books of accounts are properly safeguarded after office hours.
Process TIN registration of new employees and Update Employees Information via BIR EFPS.
Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and other requirements as may be required in the BIR letter of Authority (LOA).
Facilitate annual inventory of fixed assets. Ensure that Fixed Asset Inventory Listing is always updated, and all fixed assets are properly labeled.
Comply with all company rules and regulations and the Quality Manual of the Company.
Perform other works that may be required by the Finance Manager.
Job Requirements:
At least Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any Accounting-related course.
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in the same industry or in Accounting / Financial Services.
Has experience in Accounting and Audit and with actual experience in financial reports and Income statements.
Computer literate, and knowledgeable in Excel or other accounting software.
Keen on details and highly organized with leadership skills, and good communication skills in both written & oral.
Knowledgeable in QuickBooks or any other accounting system.
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Strong self-discipline and ability to work independently.
Can START ASAP!
Willing to work in Muntinlupa.
