Brief Job Description:
The Finance/Accounting Analyst provides key business partnership and advisory for various operations and technology directors/managers within the Back End Manufacturing organization, works closely with other stakeholders to sustain and streamline processes, support to deliver strong operational results and cost management initiatives. Analyze financial information related to the organization's expenses and revenues, seeking ways to improve the accuracy of budgets and forecasts.
Responsibilities:
Performing monthly financial close and reporting
Providing monthly spending updates and quarterly spending forecasts
Providing regular finance business updates to operations team to continuously help improve the factory's cost-effectiveness
Calculating cost savings and formulating financial models such as make-or-buy, payback period, and NPV analyses
Analyzing manufacturing cost absorption and spending variances
Supporting the regular product costing calculation process
Partnering with cost managers to continuously drive spending productivity
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an Accounting, Finance or related field
At least 3 years of relevant experience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function.
Highly knowledgeable in Accounting standards and principles
Mastery in using MS Office applications particularly on MS Excel and PowerPoint
Willing to learn business concepts and apply them in financial analyses
Ability to regularly interact with senior management and present ideas in a concise and digestible manner
Good presentation and communication skills
Organized and with great attention to detail
Critical thinking and ability to challenge status quo
Analytical and good problem-solving skills
Excellent team player and can work well even under pressure
Highly enthusiastic and with strong work ethic
Experience in using SAP, creating MS Excel Macro automation, and/or working in semiconductor industry is a plus
