Description
This position working in Philippines is expected to drive crop protection and biotech product field characterization and development activities, technical and launch support to commercial team. This position is expected to actively work within CPD&D and with cross functional team on product development and launches within country and commercial unit. Summarizes data at the local level and contributes to regional and global field data summaries for Corteva Agriscience products. The position is also expected interact with government scientist and academia establishing a strong scientific repo for Corteva.
Qualifications
Post Graduate in Agricultural Sciences (Agronomy / Entomology/ Plant Pathology/ Plant breeding or others) on in plant biology with minimum 10 years of industry experience. Candidate with PhD will be preferred.
Strong and recognized CP product development and leadership experience. In addition, working experience on GM product development will be preferred
Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization
Influencing skills (downward, upward and peer to peer)
Strong business acumen and disciplined process mindset
A strong customer-focused approach
Ability to interact with growers and to give clear directions to contractors.
Good command of English as well as local language
