WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE
Develop short-term to long-term goals in building the business in the assigned region with channel-specific strategies to ensure the growth of the JTI portfolio in terms of distribution, market dominance, expansion, consumer preference, profitability, and overall execution. Analyze the development, performance, profitability, and needs of the trade and consumer as well as trade and consumer activities of main FMCG competitors. Manage framework of the relationship between JTI and the trade by developing and implementing strategic business building programs in order to enhance brand equity, consumer loyalty, company image, trade partnership, accelerate trade development, and growth of long-term sustainability and profitability.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop Short-Term and Long-Term Business Plan for JTI Brands
Develop a trade marketing plan per region to ensure market share and value growth for assigned categories.
Trade programs that will deliver sustainable sales volume growth
Initiatives that will deliver superior distribution and merchandising versus key competitors
Performance vs. objective in terms of volume, implementation guidelines, competitive reaction, ease in implementing trade, promo spending (ROI, CTSR, CTISR)
Qualifies proposals of sales-initiated promotions and recommends changes consistent with brand strategies and budget.
Execute overall deployment of Marketing and Sales Initiatives
Manage overall deployment of regional brand and brand/trade activations to Field Personnel in the Regional Key coordinating person for all promotions to trade segment and/or account which will cover: Deals, Price offs, Trade Incentives, Bundling Activities (multi-pack or premiums), Trade Rebates, Sampling, and Brand activations o Manage promotional agencies and ensure effective operations within agreed objectives and timeframes
Develop regional strategies and programs into actionable steps via the release of Regional Sales Execution Guidelines (RSEG) to Field Sales
Sets full-year initiatives calendar based on priorities of the Sales cycle and/or Region (Traffics Sales & Marketing initiatives)2d) End-to-end development to execution -- Oversee, monitor, measure execution success and program post-evaluation.
Develop Superior Distribution, Merchandising, and Pricing Strategies
Analyze and develop superior distribution, coverage, merchandising, and pricing by trade segment through analysis of trade dynamics and informs the Sales team on any distribution, merchandising, and pricing opportunities in the area.
Analyze competitive landscape and regularly cascade competitive activities and recommends immediate action plans to counter competition in the trade
Analyze and review Nielsen Retail Audit results and transform opportunities into actionable plans for Field Sales
Conduct fieldwork for territory development
Submit Regional Monthly analysis and recommendations to the RSM
Co-Lead with Marketing & Trade Marketing on all New Product Launches
Plans out pipeline volumes, distribution, merchandising, and pricing standards in close coordination with Marketing for regional new products
Develop new product trade programs that will help field sales towards the achievement of business objectives
Ensure "Speed to Market" success and development of best practices to be shared with field sales
Establish strict controls for program enablers and other support selling stock controls

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree graduate
At least 3 years of Field Marketing, Trade Marketing, Marketing, or Sales experience that includes field experience from an FMCG industry
Knowledgeable in MS Office
Good oral and written communication skills
Functional Skills
Has acquired expertise in either Trade - General Trade and Key Accounts, Distributor Management, Trade Marketing, or Brand Management
Has acquired understanding of Customer/Trade Marketing or In-Store Activations
Has a basic understanding of Category Management
Has strong analytical skills
Demonstrates strong leadership skills
