If you are passionate about cinema and want the chance to observe the film industry at close hand, apply to work at this year's All Asian Independent Film Festival!
The All Asian Independent Film Festival - AAIFF - was launched two years ago to support independent filmmakers throughout Asia to display their unique ideas, to tell the stories deep down inside their hearts, and to inspire both audiences and other independent filmmakers. As the sister film festival of ÉCU, The European Independent Film Festival, which has been held in Paris for the last 17 years, the AAIFF has the ability to harness the rock-solid reputation of ÉCU as one of the world's foremost independent film festivals and to help bring global attention to Asia's independent filmmakers.
If you are curious about the behind-the-scenes of one of the most exciting independent film festivals in Asia, then consider joining our team!
We are looking for volunteers to help carry out organisational and promotional duties during, and in the week leading up to, the festival. Availability would be expected from 15th - 21st November 2022, working 6-7 hours per day from 3pm - 9pm. Tasks include:
Ushering (welcoming guests at the cinema and showing them to their seats)
Selling tickets
Hanging up posters
Giving out postcards
Testing DCPs (movies) in the cinema
Assisting with the setting up of equipment
Promoting the festival

Please note this is a voluntary position - no financial remuneration is offered.
Requirements
Volunteers must speak Tagalog, as well as English to a minimum B1 level. Any extra languages are appreciated, but not necessary. Applicants should also be over 18 years old.
