Job Description
*To use technical know how on testers and product for correct failure isolation and analysis. * To use data analysis skills to communicate failures to Test and other support group if needed.
To analyze hard failures using electronic equipment and product's BOM , Test Specs, Product Layout and schematic diagrams.
To do failure validation on different lines and station.
To support quality on customer-return issues and other concerns.
To perform LPA and report any deviations to superior.
To do 5k on the designated area.
To support Jidoka implementation on Test Stations.
To be aware of the Global Quality Understanding approach in Continental.
To submit accomplishment report every end of shift.
To create and submit Quality Action Request upon analysis of failures beyond trigger limit and with critical issues. * To monitor and update the actual and data count of on hold and scrap.
To log timely on FA logsheets.
To accomplished FA report
To work with Test & FA Engineers in the analysis of hard failures.
To attend required training as advised by the management team and HR.
To participate in CIM projects.
To Submit CIM projects with impact on cost.
To correctly analyze units to avoid scrappage.
To reduce Test / FA On Hold Parts.
To do real time analysis and achieve the required FA Turn Around time.
*To issue Quality Action Request in a timely manner.
*To achieve the required performance rate every end of shift.
To provide real time analysis on New product failures .
To provide Failure Analysis Report on New Product failures.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE :
Circuit Analysis:
'Able to identify basic electronics symbol, function & component tolerance
Oscilloscope:
Able to identify basic and common controls of an oscilloscope and its usage
Common controls: screen with a grid overlay, volts/div (y-axis), time/div (x-axis), vertical & horizonal position offset
Curve Tracer:
'Able to identify basic parts and common controls of curve tracer
Able to operate and display IV (Current / Voltage) curve with supervision
Able to interpret good and failed signatures at least for passive components (resistor, capacitor and diodes)
Soldering Skills'
Able to conduct cross change of passive SMT devices
eg. Resistor, Capacitor, Inductor
Able to conduct cross change of IC with different packages
eg. DFN(dual flat package), SOP(small out line package), QFP (quad flat package)
Visual Inspection
Able to use correct defect call out for every failure
Able to correlate visual defect based on functionality
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :
Relevant Manufacturing/Engineering degree preferred ( ECE, EE, CoE, ME, IE)
Experience on Managing Profit and Loss responsibilities for Manufacturing
In depth understanding on manufacturing procurement/Supply Chain Management
Extensive proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodology approach
Understanding of IATF16949, ISO 9001,ISO 14001 standard
Understanding on Advanced Product Quality Planning
Experience in managing Cost Reduction Program (CRP)
Extensive plant level experience with proven supervisory skills in handling Multi Disciplinary team
Manage 10 employees over a period of 5 years and up
Can interact effectively and collaborate with international audience with intercultural differences.
