A day in the life of...
Responsible for the over-all day-to-day operational management of the Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) service deliveries together with the contracted Service Providers ensuring that service standards and agreed service level are achieved - delivers sustainable long-term cost savings and implement value creating measures through continuous improvement. Supports the center's Business Continuity Management (BCM) programs and acts as Risk Manager's second in command as secondary role outside of IFM.
Manages the Service Partner's over-all day to day operations and service delivery performance - Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) on technical standards and Nestle Policies questions
Reviews and proposes technical improvements, efficiency solutions on the day to day scope of Facilities Services, Building systems preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, predictive maintenance programs in place.
Resolves service delivery conflicts and escalates unresolved issues to the Employee Relations, Safety Health & Facilities Manager, Site Head.
Monitors IFM improvement project's savings initiatives - ensure targets are achieved. Review and propose CAPEX and OPEX projects for the center's site.
Prepare the center for office ergo improvements in coordination with Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) team. Propose projects supportive of the Integrated Business Services (IBS) Workplace Experience program in terms of the center's physical facilities readiness.
Implements SHE Program together with the Service Partners to ensure all SHE regulations are followed (Behavioral Safety, Continuous SHE Training and Zero Lost-time Accident). Align with the center's overall SHE program including 3Ps readiness in all SHE regulatory audits making day to day is everyday audit ready.
Support the development/localization and maintenance of tools, templates, process, methodologies and standardization for Business Continuity. Maintain business continuity lifecycle planning, coordinate and monitor all project management activities to execute all phases of the full Business Continuity Planning (BCP) from initiation through operational status of all plans and sites.
Provide support to the Risk Manager in performing annual Enterprise Risk Management for both day and night shift operations to ensure Business, and ensure follow-through of actions
Regularly communicate updates on incidents, emerging risks and other issues that may impact business operations, employees or users. Build relations with communications team for internal and external communications to leverage during a BCP event.
Provide support for development and delivery of training on business continuity. Providing the regular trainings to the center stakeholders/streams.
Test and verify applicability and robustness of the Business Continuity Plan and identify areas for improvement. Conduct post-incident reviews, develop lessons learned and track mitigation plans
What will make you successful
Graduate of Technical / Science / Engineering Course (Mechanical or Electrical)
Prior experience in facilities service management (E.g.: Canteen, Fleet Mgmt, Facilities Administration, Building & Grounds Maintenance, Hygienic Cleaning, Environmental Waste Mgmt, Small Projects Mgmt, etc.) ideally within a Factory, DC and Head Office.
Facilities Management and Administration in key big companies - understanding of the FM Market Situation and Maturity (Implementation of Best Practices)
Experience in working in a cross-functional and networked organization (internal and external providers)
Excellent project management and delivery skills
Highly developed leadership and influencing skills as core competencies essential for success within the role
Experience in Shared Service Center (CoS or CoC) operations would be a significant plus
Experience in root cause analysis, industry benchmarking, survey evaluation and data interpretation
Experience in Business continuity, crisis management or disaster recovery
Hand on experience and familiar with international BCM standards i.e. ISO 22301, etc.
Demonstrated experience conducting Business impact analysis and vulnerability assessments for facilities, people, processes and technology
Proven ability to manage initiatives across multiple teams, platforms, and sites
