Job Summary:
1. Ensures the safety of employees and personnel, equipment, properties, and facilities and uses safe work methods and procedures in accordance with regulatory and hospital standards
2. Areas of responsibility are facilities management and administration, bio-medical equipment, safety management and emergency preparedness
3. Handles construction, design, repair, improvement and maintenance of facilities of the hospital
4. Manages facilities and oversees the 5S methodology implementation in the facilities
5. Manages and conducts routine/regular preventive maintenance of medical and non-medical equipment
6. Ensures the performance of corrective maintenance
7. Oversees asset accountability of all employees
Qualification:
> Education: Bachelor of Science or college degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
> With work experience in Operation & Maintenance management of Medical/hospital facilities, office building, etc
> Experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and central HVAC systems including centrifugal an absorption chillers.
> F&M Head must have:
- interpersonal, relationship-building and networking skills;
- procurement and negotiation skills;
- project management skills;
- Experience in the following area/s is an advantage:
administration;
building;
business;
construction;
engineering;
management.
