Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Helps simple to medium-complex events be carried out in accordance with the overarching strategy
Create meeting plans and enhance the attendee experience to achieve event goals.
Collaborate with internal groups and service providers
Use technology to support the meeting process
Support resolution of escalations related to meetings or events
Collaboration on internal communications development (service marketing and process improvements)
Supports our staff and outside suppliers in communicating policy
Helps create standard terms and conditions for service providers, benchmarks prices and programs, and makes necessary adjustments to processes or sourced agreements.
Manages interactions and agreements with service providers to provide value-added services at reasonable prices.
Identifies and evaluates prospective new vendors and services, and efficiently manages the process.
Keeps knowledge base updated on supplier and sourcing trends and apply new approaches as appropriate
Performs other tasks as requested by the Meetings & Events Lead
We are looking for:
College Graduate in any related course
At least 1 year experience in event management or hospitality industry
Project management related to events (complex work plans, complex events)
Stakeholder management up to MD Levels
Good to Have: Background in customer service
