EUC Infrastructure SME
What you'll be doing:
You will manage Active directory services and policies and automate common system tasks. PowerShell is a must have. You'll perform the role of senior Infrastructure expert for the planning, design and delivery of all EUC solutions.
You'll be assisting with 3rd line technical support, incident and problem management as required, including triage, advanced troubleshooting, analysis and incident resolution. You'll maintain the overall IT Infrastructure across all sites covering VMWARE and physical Windows server estates and related storage.
Part of your tasks to update and maintain network documentation and procedures, along with other technical documentation within the infrastructure realm.
You need to use your expertise and leadership in the design, configuration and management of all corporate EUC devices and associated supporting management services. Proactively monitor the infrastructure environment resolving issues before they become business impacting.
Excellent EUC - VDI experience in either VMware or Citrix's offering (Horizon View or XenDesktop).
Office365 Architecture (Azure AD Hybrid Identity, Microsoft Endpoint Manager SCCM & In-tune MDM expert Level, Deep understanding of EMS).
Windows 10 Imaging, Feature and Quality Update Cycle; application Deployment (SCCM, In-tune and Microsoft Store)
Ensure system security is enhanced and maintained in line with good practice, as well as delivering compliance. Contribute to the planning, design and project delivery of IT projects, by providing a broad technical knowledge.
You should lead technology sourcing and selection activities, working with diverse third-party suppliers (and specialists) to identify the solution options for delivery.
Create high level solution models and architectures for all aspects of EUC which align with requirements, meeting all security, operational and integration needs
Your role is to own EUC architecture roadmaps and blueprints, defining and delivering an on-going continuous improvement and maintenance programme.
Conducting the full range of technical design, configuration and delivery of fit for purpose EUC devices, systems and management capabilities
What we'd like to see from you:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field with equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience on System Infrastructure on a Senior Level Position.
• 3+ Years of experience as an Architect
• Must have expert level experience on VMware or Citrix's offering (Horizon View or XenDesktop).
• Must have expert level experience on ADDS and Azure AD.
• Must have expert level experience on Power Shell Scripting.
• Must have expert level experience on SCCM.
• Must have expert level experience on Windows 10 Imaging.
• Must have knowledge on Microsoft Endpoint Manager, In-tune (MDM).
• Must have knowledge on Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS).
• Must have knowledge on MAC with JAMF.
• Knowledge on managing Linux developer Machines (SCCM, MDM) is nice to have.
• Must have knowledge on Automation and integration experience
• Ability to coordinate and manage the build process for various MDM platforms using SCCM, Intune, Active Directory.
• Proven and demonstrable experience record of delivering successful Windows 10/Office 365, MDM migration projects using SCCM/Intune.
• Deep understanding of IT security principles
