Position: Estimator

Tasks required:
Utilize MS Visio software to create floor plan
Analyze plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs
Utilize MSS Excel to customize builder pricing to reflect suggested retail price
Research, source, negotiate and obtain the best prices and quotes from suppliers
Utilize Salez-Tools to create order list of customer pricings by builder and community
Analyzing data that can affect costs (such as currency exchange rates and the companys productivity rates)
Work closely with key members of the project team and liaising with clients and suppliers
Keep detailed records and write reports.
Other ad hoc tasks to be assigned
Requirements:
Proven work experience as an estimator or relevant role is required
Working knowledge with MS Visio, MS Excel, and Salez-Tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read construction blueprints
Research skills to locate plans on multiple sites
Self-disciplined and organized; able to consistently produce quality work with limited supervision
Strong attention to detail
