Primary Purpose
- To ensure the timely completion of project pricing, including high standard and quality submissions
- Preparation and submission of tenders, Expressions of Interest and other client communication as required.
- Contribute to the initial administration of contracts won as may be required.
- To work with operational and sales teams and ensure clients' needs and expectations are met
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate project prices based on take-offs from contract drawings, specifications via Quotation Management System (QMS) and other internal data sources to prepare most accurate client responses
Price contract variations and communicate with appropriate sales or operations colleagues
Provide regular and timely feedback regarding commercial competitiveness offers
Identify cost saving solutions to put forward during tenders
Partner with Operations Manager and salesforce team members to review and report on the analysis of tenders won and lost, identifying future learnings and opportunities for improvement
Ongoing liaison with sales team to understand client expectations
Present information in a professional manner, and in line with templates and preferred methods where available
Proactively engage stakeholders both internal and external to ensure timely responses to client requirements
Meet with Operations Manager and Site Managers on an ongoing basis to support handling of business priorities or team related projects
Collaborate with Visual Designers to reconcile drawings with quote specifics as part of handover process, once project has been won
Work effectively with others to generate new ideas and possibilities to create value for clients
Contribute to continuous improvement projects to drive efficiencies and excellent client experiences
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years related experience
Intermediate to advanced computer literacy with MS Office and digital business system
Previous experience in estimating furniture systems is highly desirable
