JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reviews edited submissions and revises them, if necessary
Proofreads some students' essays
Issues "rechecks" to editors for non-compliance with editing guidelines
Sends essays back to students after proofreading with a fixed quota
Assigns scores to the edited essays of editors
Reports failure cases to the Team Leaders
Undertakes coaching of editors based on their output when assigned by the Team Leaders
Conducts trainings of editors and new-hires when assigned
Evaluates trainee performance
Submits training reports
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Journalism, Education, Language/Linguistics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Mass Communications, or equivalent
Excellent computer skills
Proficient in oral and written English
Able to work well in a team setting, has effective coaching skills, detail-oriented, and possesess multi-tasking skills
At least one (1) year of work experience in a related field
Applicants must be willing to work in Mandaluyong City
