About the Job
As an Equity Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting market trends, financial statements, and economic reports to provide valuable insight into the performance of a company's equity. The FinChat data team's purpose is to equip users with the highest-grade segment and KPI data available in the market to make well-informed investment decisions.
Duties / Responsibilities
Analyze public company financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements to provide valuable insights to clients
Keep our database up to date on a quarterly reporting basis
Process customer company and / or data requests
Understand and update company data if and when financial reporting changes
Aid in other non-recurring data- and product-related tasks on an as-needed basis
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in equity analysis or a related field
Proficient with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
Background in Finance and Accounting, preferably in financial reporting, financial analysis (FP&A), and / or equity analysis
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and ability to take initiative
