Manage conversions of XML content and its support files (graphics, static documents, audio, and video) to desired formats, including HTML, XHTML, PDF, PRC/MOBI, and EPUB files.
Quality check final digital products to ensure high-quality standard
Ensure the integrity of the original content during conversion, the styles are correct and consistent, images are correctly linked and captioned
Responsible for fixing/debugging ePub files using either ePub 2 or ePub 3 specifications
Responsible for creating ePub samples
Coordinate with external digital content suppliers
Provides ongoing education to internal stakeholders about the e-publishing workflow. Offers guidance and recommends improvements to content managers about preparing content for digital publication
Documents all XML-related processes and workflows on an ongoing basis to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
Work with the content development team to explore digital and interactive solutions for a project
Have a Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in any Computer related course.
At least 1 or more years work experience in any aspect of publishing industry.
Knowledgeable in MS Office, any XML Editor such as Oxygen XML Editor, XML, MathType, Photoshop, MathML, DTD, XSLT, Macro.
Willing to work in Ortigas area.
