Functional responsibilities
Track configuration and connectivity details of Regression and Test environments
Allocate test environments to projects/teams
Create new test environments as needed
Monitor environment stability
Delete/update outdated test environments
Communicate test environment availability to project management and quality assurance
Investigate environment issues and coordinate issue resolution
Provide test data to testers when needed, via a TDM tool, or test data refresh from other environments
Automate test environment activities where possible
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
5+ years experience in System Administration
Extensive experience setting up and configuring operating systems, networks, databases, and application servers, to create end-to-end test environments
Experience with server and system performance tuning, design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance
Have setup on premise and cloud base server (AWS, Azure)
Experience working on MS Windows is a must and optionally Linux is advantageous
Familiarity with networking services: DNS, DHCP
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make technical decisions
Highly organized with focus on accuracy - able to keep a constantly shifting test environment calendar up to date
Ability to communicate with stakeholders: project management, QA, and Infra team
Proven experience with large and complex corporate IT environments
