Coordinating with the different engineering departments to assist them with different simultaneous urgencies with an intention for continued improvement and maintenance.
Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Arranges meetings with contractors and with managers.
2. Assists with the billing requirements of contractors
3. Takes note and follows-up with plans and documents.
4. Organizes requests from the terminals.
5. Monitors the needs of the engineering department
6. To keep in contact the engineering departments of all terminals to attend to their need
7. Document controller. Monitor and keeps inventory of engineering department records
8. Assists in engineering activities such as prebid meetings and preconstruction meetings
9. Conducts site visits and inspections as deemed necessary
10. Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time
10.1. Create templates for preventive maintenance
10.2. Change orders
10.3. Creates billing of contractors
Job Qualifications:
Graduate of a four to five-year course relating to Engineering at any field, and from reputable universities.
Preferably a licensed engineer
At least 1 year of experience in an Engineering Field, preferably from the construction, oil & gas, and chemical
Adept in reading plans and knows how to estimate, knowledge in Auto CAD, to understand contracts, administrative skills, legal skills, technical skills, safety skills.
Demonstrates strong computer literacy, operating office equipment, people skills, and critical thinking.
Above average verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of web-based Google Workspace (formerly, G Suite, and comprises of spreadsheets, documents, and presentations) and Windows Office (Word, Excel (simple formulas), Powerpoint).
Must be willing to do fieldwork, if needed.
Expectations from Candidates:
Candidates who are invited for HR screening will need to undergo and pass an online exam and/or technical exam, and accomplish HR documents, personality tests, and essay exams before proceeding to the HR interview.
Candidates who pass the HR interview would then need to submit soft copies of their available pre-employment requirements, such as the Transcript of Records, Diploma, and NBI clearance. The complete list will be provided by the recruiter.
In the event candidates are hired, they would be required to submit hard copies of all the pre-employment requirements and pass the medical exam and background check before onboarding.
