Engineer 2, Product Materials Compliance (PMC)
By joining us as a Product Material Compliance Engineer 2 you will be a part of a dynamic and collaborative team committed to provide primary analytics support to the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration business units unit thru report generation, data management and data analytics.
In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to leverage on your analytical and Excel skills for the Emerson Continuous Improvement brand in Manila to update and streamline processes as to become more accurate and less time consuming.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Handle data maintenance of compressor parts and update Conflict Minerals product type
- Meet with Sales/Marketing staff for customer request or contract negotiations regarding compliance
- Collaborate and assist with other stakeholders by communicating open components/ suppliers to supply chain
- Be the point person for all PMC customer requests
- Support Customer Engineer by following up with requestor for customer requests
- Support and oversee other PMC Analyst with Bill of Material, drawings, engineering material specification information as needed
- Attend regular meetings to understand PMC challenges with business unit suppliers/ components
- Face with other cross functional groups like Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales/Marketing, Engineering & Product Planning to support requirements for New Product Developments, Design for Compliance, and PMC Specifications
- Support any large-scale product/component change due to legislation requirements FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Material Science
- At least two (2) years' working experience on Materials and Chemicals
- Background in offshore service operations is an added advantage.
- Ability to assume back up functions in the event of skills and capacity constraints
- Ability to build long lasting relationships with internal & external customers, and work within a team setting
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Knowledge on computer applications such MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and other Business Systems and Tools
- Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
- Attention to Details and Accuracy
