Job Description:
Are you a new college graduate (NCG) looking to start a career in Electronics Engineering under the semiconductor industry? Be a part of the New Product Development (NPD) team of the leading provider of smart, connected, and secure embedded control solutions company - Microchip. Here at the Philippines Technical Center, we develop you to be a world class Engineer. You will be part of a team that provides high value and cost-effective solutions and services to our worldwide engineering and manufacturing partners. You will learn how to develop embedded solutions to simplify silicon validation tasks and contribute to the success of the company.
Responsibilities:.
Support New Product Development objectives through Silicon Validation.
Support improvement projects to reduce test cost in manufacturing.
Maintain, develop, and implement bench test methodologies on new devices.
Develop Software using VBA, C/C++, java
Participate as a member of the development team.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Knowledge in electronics and basic circuit design.
Boundary Scan (IEEE 1149.1)
Knowledge of JAVA programming
Good programming skill: C, C++/Java with exceptionally good expertise at low level C/assembly
Verilog and/or VHDL o Behavioural, RTL and Gate Level coding, Programming Language Interface
Knowledge in Unix, Fluent in Perl and/or Shell scripting, agile with Make, and familiar with Revision Control (CVS, SVN, ...)
Must be familiar with schematic design and PCB layout.
Knowledge of FPGA architecture is a plus
Hands on knowledge of basic lab equipment such as oscilloscope, multi-meters, logic analyzer, etc.
Excellent analytical and debugging skills and the ability to proactively solve issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
