Job Description
Enable Microchip customers to succeed by providing them technical assistance in using Microchip products.
Provide pre-sales technical assistance to customers on device and tool selection.
Help customers overcome hardware and software design hurdles.
Analyze customer feedback, reporting product defects & improvements discovered during the support process.
Author and review articles for Microchip's Knowledge Base, Application Notes, and other written collateral.
Train internal and external customers on Microchip's & Atmel's solutions and services.
Knowledge of customers and applications in Microchip's focus market segments.
Stay up to date with Microchip's & Atmel's latest technologies and product offerings.
Job Requirements
BS required in relevant engineering discipline (e.g. Electronics, Computer Science, etc.).
1-3 years experience with embedded systems design and software programming techniques is preferred.
1-3 years project experience, working in collaborative teams.
Demonstrable knowledge of Microcontroller/Microprocessor architecture.
Fluent in the C or C++ programming languages.
Experience with embedded hardware and firmware design.
Real world debugging and problem solving skills.
Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Experience with Microchip & Atmel development tools, products and solutions a plus.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication.
Percentage of Shift and Longest Time (Enter Standing %, Walking %, Sitting %, Driving %, Inside %, Outside %, Hours standing, walking, sitting, driving, and Usual shift hours and days)
