Project management: Engineer in-charge for HGA Slider attached process (A2SK) and equivalent development and improvements; collaborate with Fujisawa, Thailand counterparts and tool developer for tool developments and upgrades
New Product/Process/Technology assignment: Assigned to conduct first level validation of new product or technology to assigned process. Finalized condition for new products/technology with documentation in conformance to product or machine specification
Baseline Improvement: Provide actions and in-depth studies to improve tool performance impacting yield, quality, capacity, cost and uptime
Tool Expertise: Will be assigned as tool expert to assigned tool/machine; must be knowledgeable on all areas of tool (Hardware, Software, Process)
Responsibilities;
Test and approve new equipment before handing off to production.
Perform equipment upgrades, as need.
Analyze equipment malfunctions and failures and accordingly develop corrective actions.
Develop improvements to enhance equipment reliability and scalability.
Develop preventive maintenance procedures to reduce equipment failures.
Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements.
Maintain documentations for equipment installation, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
Develop cost-reduction initiatives while still maintaining quality and productivity.
Provide job assistance and conduct job trainings for technicians and/or operator as needed.
Act as primary contact for equipment performance related questions and concerns.
