RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer the application for pre-commercialization service contract to Department of Energy
Conduct land search, site surveys, preliminary assessments and acquisition
Facilitate Land Conversion Permits and Certificates, site permitting and acceptance of Local Government Unit (LGU) and Municipal LGU and other permitting required by the Department of Energy
Coordinate and secure with Board of Investments the application of project certification
Coordinate with National Grid Corporation of the Philippines/Distribution Utilities
Coordinate and arrange contracts from local contractors (such as surveyor, soil and pull-out test and System Impact Study/Distribution Impact Study and Facility Asset Study/Distribution Asset Study)
Facilitate Declaration of Commerciality
Assist the Financial Manager in drafting the Project Investment Kit/Information Kit and prepare project timeline and milestones
Submit reportorial requirements for Department of Energy, Board of Investments, etc.
Act as liaison officer for the Department of Energy and other government agencies
Supervise all engineers and technicians
Support quality assurance through inspection and assessment
Provide technical services to other departments that may be assigned by the Chairman
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License in Engineering (Civil, Electrical/Electronic, Environmental/Health/Safety, Material Science, Mechanical or other engineering courses.
At least 5 years of working experience in Renewable, Solar, Diesel and other energy-generating industries is required for this position.
Preferably with Managerial experience
In-depth knowledge and experience with all aspects of project management, energy management, energy technology, energy policy, sustainable development and other related fields
