Job OverviewThe Employee Discipline Supervisor (ED Supervisor) is generally responsible for ensuring proper execution of Employee Discipline functions. They shall work closely with the assigned unit/s of the company. They shall be responsible for coordinating with the units in drafting and implementing new policies and procedures. Other functions include investigation of the employee's complaints and issues, resolving the concerns of the employees that may affect their performance at the workplace, providing professional counseling, developing action plans to motivate and building morale of the employees, thereby strengthening the employee and employer working relationship to help in the growth of the organization. The ED Supervisor shall supervise the Employee Relations Specialists (ER Specialists) under the Employee Discipline Team while also handling assigned units for investigation and resolution of administrative cases, and shall work hand in hand with the assigned HR Business Partners and Area HR Officers to perform and accomplish employee concerns as regards employee discipline.
Job DescriptionA. Employee Discipline
Gathers and validates data regarding incident reports for disciplinary action.
Drafts appropriate Notice to Explain for issuance to erring employees.
Conducts administrative hearings as may be required.
Drafts appropriate Notice of Decision, taking into consideration all documents and evidence gathered.
Builds and maintains effective relationships with key stakeholders by proactively and regularly attending alignment meetings, operations meetings, and other venues for consultations.
Review all Notices drafted by the ER Specialists to ensure comprehensiveness and compliance with the company's policies prior approval of the ER Manager.
Monitoring the ER Case Dashboard and providing first level analysis.
Ensure proper reporting of the ER Specialists to allow for accurate data in the dashboard
Work with the Employee Relations Manager to determine actionable items or recommendations for flagging with other units.
Escalate cases where Line Managers breached TAT on issuance to erring employees.
Orient newly-hired employees on the Ninja Code of Conduct.
B. Process Improvement
Assists the officers and unit heads in strategic planning and business process optimization by making recommendations based on the data and evidence gathered during the administrative investigation.
Requirements
College graduate with a degree in Human Resource Development, Psychology, or any related course
At least 5 years experience working in an Employee Relations role or equivalent
Knowledge of local labor regulations
Proven experience in an Employee Relations role
Interpersonal skills
Process-driven; Organized
Good judgment
Spoken and written fluency in English, Tagalog, and local dialect
