Byrnecut Offshore Group currently employs over 1000 people worldwide with current operations in Burkina Faso, Saudi Arabia and Mali.
All our roles require self-motivated individuals who have demonstrated underground mining experience in the position sought.
Byrnecut Offshore Group are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Underground Electricians for our international sites.
Successful applicants must have:
Relevant trade qualifications (current Australian electrical workers licence), with a demonstrated track record in mining related underground electrical work;
A High Voltage Switching certification;
Experience in HV & LV underground electrical reticulation;
Experience in maintenance/fault finding on Sandvik Drills;
Repair and overhaul/rebuild experience on Flygt submersible pumps;
Experience in installation and maintenance of underground communications systems;
Experience in Supervision; and
An impeccable electrical safety record;
It is desirable that the applicants:
Be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision;
Possess a team first ethos;
Be self motivated and willing to liaise and interact with local cultures;
Be able and willing to live offshore for the rostered period;
Be flexible with job requirements and be willing to assist when fill in work is required;
Hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate;
Hold a current valid passport.
