QUALIFICATIONS
Registered Master Electrician/ National Certificate 2 (NC2) on Plumbing
Minimum of two (2) years work experience or similar role in a commercial building
Understand various electrical works in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances
Ability to handle Electrical tools and equipment (multi-tester, megger tester, grounding tester, etc.)
Experienced in troubleshooting of circuits and motors.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Ensures the smooth running of all electrical systems, equipment and machineries of the building
Reads blueprints and other technical documents to asses building needs and electrical plans
Works with contractors to asses client needs and plan electrical layout
Maintains electrical supply of major machines and equipment
Monitors electric utility consumption
Inspects and tests electrical equipment like dishwashers, water heater, etc.
Diagnoses electrical connections
Abides by government regulations and Safety Codes
Performs other duties that are compatible with the position
