Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
Must have 2 years of experience in Electrical fault finding tasks.
Applicants must be willing to work in Doha.
Must have more than 6 years experience in the Oil and Gas or Power Generation industries
Must have a fairly good knowledge of various process equipments
Must be able to read, write and speak English to IELTS level 5 equivalent.
Must have a good understanding of QA/QC and HSE compliance audits.
Must be able to understand job tasks and take verbal or written instruction.
Shall be conversant with working on hazardous area equipment.
Must have sound knowledge of (IEC based) Area Classification, Ex standards, and Ex Equipment
Shall be able to use test equipment and have knowledge of fault finding.
Must have knowledge of terminating cables and requirements for cable glanding, laying and jointing s
Can read and understand general electrical drawings.
Must be competent to isolate LV drive.
Must be able to report close out activities & capture work history in CMMS.
Must be capable to become CEP within 6 months.
