ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR
 
Reports to: Plant Engineer/Maintenance Manager 
Department: Maintenance
 
Electrical Supervisor is mainly responsible to provide technical guidance and support, to oversee the team of electricians of the Plant.
 
Electrical Supervisor shall ensure that safety standards and compliance codes are met.
 
Responsibilities of the job include:
Directs operations and coordinates manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and other requirements;
Prepares and studies technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems and topographical maps to ensure that installations and operations conforms to standards;
Evaluates and analyzes data regarding electric power systems and stations and recommend changes to improve operating efficiency;
Inspects completed installations and observed operations for conformance to design and equipment specification and operational and safety standards;
Monitors repairs of electrical trouble on equipment, facilities and electrical lines;
Prepares summary reports or repair jobs and accomplishments/compiles data regarding existing and potential engineering studies and projects;
Prepares monthly work schedules;
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
