Job Role / Summary
The MEP Site Engineer is responsible for planning, design in the areas of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems including developing polices, standards, inspection procedures, and evaluation tools as well as management of MEP matters involving project sites and facilities.
Project Planning & Design
Prepare value engineering concept drawings principle
Prepare and coordinate M & E specific method statements
Scope of coverage includes but is not limited to HVAC systems: electrical power and lighting, fire alarm systems, energy management, plumbing and water-related design and installation, cooking gas appliances/equipment design and installation.
Project Execution/Management
Manages the engineering team and oversees training of new engineers and other onsite employees in his team
Ensures safety of the worksite during the course of development in coordination with onsite project team members
Review Project Quality plan with the Quality Head and the project team involved in execution
Reviews safety standards for the finished product together with the Head Office Safety Officer
Monitor sub-contractors and Direct Contractors off-site activities

Frequent travel to project sites
Work in an open office, from 8AM - 5PM, Monday to Saturday
Skills and Competencies
Teamwork (between the engineering team, service technicians, business managers, and clients, interfacing with each)
Exceptional planning and organizing / time management skills
Communication skills, both oral and written
Problem Solving skills to troubleshoot on a variety of projects
Financial skill (budgeting and cost management, cost estimates and cost control
Experience
At least 4 years of construction experience with strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
Expansive exposure to construction procedures and practices
Experienced working on drafting, reviewing, and evaluation of engineering blueprints
Experience leading teams of individuals from a variety of different backgrounds and disciplines a strong advantage
Education / Knowledge Background / Certification
Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, licensed is a plus
Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications, and schematics associated with MEP areas
Knowledge of MS Office and other drafting tools
Associate / Supervisor Architecture and Engineering Real Estate / Mortgage 40 openings Bachelor's degree graduate
