Roles and Responsibilities
- Primarily in charge of Electrical design and estimation of low voltage switchgear including Main Switchboard, Distribution board, and Meter panel
- Prepares workshop drawing details and single line diagram proposal to be submitted to the client/s
- Reviews consultant and client request for switchgear specifications and design
- Ensures that all switchgear designs are complying with the latest QLD and NSW metering rules and guidelines
- Coordinates with Engineers and clients regarding project design concerns
- Ensures all switchgear components needed are complete prior to manufacturing
- Turning engineer drawing from single line diagram into a general arrangement for quotation
- Understand switchgear and controlgear (different manufacturers)
- Must be capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings (single line diagrams)
Required Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Electrical Engineering or Electrical Trade background
