Role and responsibilities:
1. Estimate the effort to design and document embedded software products and electrical and electronic HVAC products
2. Track software activity costs and electrical and electronic activity costs as per budget
3. Plan and schedule software activities and electrical and electronic activities
4. Track software development and test activities as well as electrical and electronic activities
5. Estimate electrical and electronic product costs and track these costs
6. Analyze and assimilate technical specifications and standards
7. With assistance, build, modify and repair harnesses, fixtures and printed circuit assemblies
8. Design and document electrical and electronic products: assembly drawings, schematics, and supervise board and harness layout
9. Participate in electronic/electrical product design reviews
10.Verify and approve electrical and electronic products as per documentation or industry standards (if technically competent to do so)
11. Verify and approve software documentation (if technically competent to do so)
12.Verify and approve electrical and electronic product documentation (if technically competent to do so)
13. Define the required software tests (routine and qualification)
14. Define with the Test Engineer/Designer the required tests (routine and qualification)
15. Validate with the Test Engineer/Designer and the Electrical Technician the test equipment built
16. Provide support to our manufacturing sites and suppliers, remotely from Montreal or on site
17. Select test facilities and enter requisitions
18. Create requisitions for parts to be built by suppliers or to get parts required for internal build
19. Ensure that all equipment required for tests is calibrated
20. Perform tests with or without the Test Engineer/Designer
21. Write test reports
22. Give technical presentations to customers
Requirements
Minimum education level: Master ́s Degree
Years of experience: 3
Language(s): Tagalog ,English
Knowledge: Microsoft Excel
